Each membership category is also subject to the terms and conditions applicable to their applicable membership category as set out in clause 3 (Membership Categories).
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit, restrict, or exclude rights available to You under Australian Consumer Law.
1. Purchase or Renewal of Membership
Once a membership or renewal application is accepted and finalised by the Club and Your initial payment is taken, the West Coast Eagles Football Club will issue a payment confirmation electronically, within five business days. Access members with match access entitlements will then receive instructions on how to access match tickets, prior to the next applicable match.
The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right not to accept any membership or renewal application, in its absolute discretion.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- the purchase or renewal of Your Club membership confirms Your agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions, irrespective of the method of purchase or renewal;
- acceptance by the Club of a renewal or purchase of a Club Membership forms an agreement to purchase that membership for the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and/or 2025 NAB AFLW Premiership Season as applicable, and You agree that payment conditions apply (see clause 4. Payment policy); and
- Once a renewal or purchase of a membership has been accepted by the Club and notified to You, Your Membership cannot be cancelled or suspended by You unless approved by the Club at its discretion in accordance with clause 6 – Termination, Refund and Compensation.
2. Term of membership
Subject to these terms and conditions, Club membership will entitle You to the listed benefits of Your applicable Club membership category as set out below, commencing from the date on which the Club issues You with confirmation of receipt of the membership payment, and continues until October 31, 2025, or until 1 December 2025 for AFLW Memberships only (Term). Where a Member has opted in to allow the Club to automatically renew their membership for a further twelve months following the completion of the Term, the Member authorises the Club to automatically renew their annual Membership on or after the advised date each year (or such earlier date as the Club may notify to the Member from time to time) (‘‘Rollover Date’’) and debit their nominated credit/debit card for the applicable Membership Fee for the forthcoming year in accordance with their applicable Eagle Easy Plan. Rollover of a Membership will be subject to the applicable membership terms and conditions for that year.
3. Membership Categories
3.1 Club Membership Categories and Entitlements
3.1.1 Reserved Seat Membership Categories
Reserved Seat memberships include the following reserved seat categories: A Reserve, B Reserve, C Reserve, D Reserve, E Reserve, Front Row, Blue & Gold Terrace, and Club 87 (each a ‘Reserve Seat Membership’). Click here to view the benefits relating to each category.
Reserved Seat Membership entitles the holder to a reserved seat at the eleven (11) West Coast Eagles 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season matches designated as Home Qualifying Matches at Optus Stadium that occur during the Term. For the avoidance of doubt, Gather Round and Opening Round are subject to the AFL terms and conditions and are not included as a home match for the purpose of this clause. Entitlements may be viewed here and may vary from season to season, at the discretion of the Club. Changes to entitlements will only occur at the completion of a season and will be advised prior to the Rollover Date.
Match entitlements that are not utilised during the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season will expire at the end of the home and away season and will not accrue into following season/s.
The West Coast Eagles Football Club reserves the right to relocate any Reserved Seat Member to an alternative seat, to satisfy a Club, Venue, or AFL requirement, without prior consent from that Member. This may occur for any match, or for an entire season, at the discretion of the Club and depending on the requirement. Every effort will be made to relocate the Member to a similar category, and to minimise the impact of any such change. If the Club is required to relocate a Member for more than 75% of the Home Qualifying Matches in the Term and the Member cannot be relocated to another seat in the same or substantially the same category, then the Member may terminate their Membership with the Club and the Club will provide the Member a pro-rata refund or credit for matches following the cancellation of that membership. In providing the pro-rata refund or credit the Club may take into account the benefits already provided by the Club to the Member. (For the avoidance of doubt, the Club will not be required to take into account how many matches the Member has actually attended prior to termination, but simply the number of matches that have occurred). Should the Member not wish to cancel their membership, the Club will provide the Member a pro-rata refund or credit for matches following the relocation, representing the difference in value between categories of the former and current seat.
Should a Home Qualifying Match be cancelled, suspended or rescheduled, for whatever reason, the Club is not liable for any refund, compensation or other remedy to Members for the cancellation, suspension or rescheduling of said match, except as required by law (see 6. Termination, Refund and Compensation, below).
There is no guarantee of undercover seating or protection from the elements, or full, unrestricted viewing of the match, arena or screens in any seat or category of seating at Optus Stadium or Mineral Resources Park. Seats may be classified as Restricted Viewing at the discretion of the Club where, in the opinion of the Club, a significant amount of match play is obstructed from view on an ongoing basis.
The West Coast Eagles Football Club hires the facilities at Optus Stadium from VenuesLive, as operator of Optus Stadium, for the specified number of Toyota AFL Premiership Season Home Qualifying Matches scheduled by the AFL on an annual basis. The Club has the right to market and sell facilities as determined by VenuesLive. Stadium seating is made available to the Club to offer a purchase or renewal arrangement to Members on a year-by-year basis, for West Coast Eagles Football Club Home Qualifying Matches only. Reserved Seat members do not hold any rights to access any other event or match beyond the Club’s scheduled Home Qualifying Matches of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, as specified by the AFL.
When the facility is available, members with A or B Reserve seating have priority access to the River View Room, sometimes referred to as the Captain’s Club, for West Coast Eagles Home Qualifying Matches at Optus Stadium. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit, restrict, or exclude rights available under Australian Consumer Law.
Significant Change to Match Access Benefits
Remedy options will generally only be offered in the event of significant change to advertised match access membership benefits. A significant change is considered to include a material reduction in match access benefits of over 30% during the relevant Toyota AFL Premiership Season, resulting in no spectators being permitted to attend a match or matches due to decisions or directives outside of the control of the Club (including an AFL or Government directive). This includes force majeure events. Any remedy options will be applied pro-rata against benefits already provided and matches that have already been completed. In assessing a pro-rata refund or credit, the Club will not be required to take into account how many matches the Member has actually attended but simply the number of matches that have occurred.
The implementation of a ‘floating’ fixture, a change in previously advised start time, or the rescheduling of a Match to an alternative date is not considered to be a significant change and will not result in a refund or credit.
In the event of a significant change to previously published match access membership benefits during the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season (due to any reason outside of the control of the Club), the Club will upon receipt of such a request from a Member remedy any material reduction in the Members match access benefits.
Significant Change in Personal Circumstances and Financial Hardship
Cancellation of a membership and refunds or credits of any fees paid will not be available for reasons of change of mind or generally for change of personal circumstances. However, match access members impacted by a significant and ongoing change in personal circumstances may request a membership downgrade (to a non-access or general admission membership) or cancellation of their Membership, from the Club. Such requests must be made in writing to the Club via membership@westcoasteagles.com.au.
Change of personal circumstances requests must be bona-fide and must outline the significant and ongoing change of personal circumstances, that is not a change of mind, is beyond the reasonable control of the Member and means that the Member is unable to attend any further matches immediately following the occurrence of the change in personal circumstances. Upon receipt of such a request, the Club will, determine, if the requested downgrade or cancellation is permitted. The Club is under no obligation to agree to cancel or downgrade the Members membership or to provide a refund or a credit, but should act reasonably in assessing each request.
Any Member experiencing financial hardship may submit a request for financial relief by emailing membership@westcoasteagles.com.au. Financial relief may include negotiation of a payment plan, or such other arrangement agreed by the Club and the Member. Financial hardship requests must be bona-fide and must be made within a reasonable timeframe of the on-set of the hardship. Such requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Club in consultation with the Member. The Club is under no obligation to provide a refund or a credit but should act reasonably in assessing each request.
Any refund or credit granted will be pro-rata in relation to the matches already completed for the season and the value of any other benefits already provided to the Member. Further, when assessing the pro-rata amount, the Club will not be required to take into account how many matches the Member has actually attended but simply the number of matches that have occurred.
Seat Return credits cannot be converted and are not refundable (see 10. Seat Return Program credits owing, below).
7. Cancellation of Membership by the Club as a Result of Member Behaviour

If a membership is cancelled by the Club in accordance with this clause, the Member may, at the discretion of the Club, be provided a refund or credit which will be calculated on a pro-rata basis in relation to the matches already completed for the season, and additional benefits provided to the Member prior to the cancellation. The Club will not be required to take into account how many matches the Member has actually attended but simply the number of matches that have occurred.
8. Transfer policy
